I can't Confirm my Account

When you signup for Block of the Day, we send you a confirmation e-mail. Most likely, when you can't find your confirmation e-mails, it's because your e-mail provider is blocking e-mails from Blockoftheday.com. Blocked e-mails  have been an issue for Hotmail, G-mail, AOL, Earthlink and Yahoo subscribers. Please check your spam filters to locate your confirmation e-mail. You may also need to go directly to your e-mail provider's website and check your account there. Some of our confirmation e-mails don't even get into your spam box!

My Password isn't Working - I just can't get into my Account 

Most likely when you have trouble and nothing seems to work, it's because your account isn't confirmed. Please check your spam filters to locate your confirmation e-mail. You may also need to go directly to your e-mail provider's website and check your account there. Some of our confirmation e-mails don't even get into your spam box!

I Forgot my Password

We can easily send you a new password. Click on the Login/Register link in the main menu. Click on "forgot your password?" link. Enter your e-mail address and we will send you a new password via e-mail.

I Want to Change my Password

Click on the login/register link in the main menu to login to your account. You will have to login with your old password. Once logged in, click on the change password link and follow the instructions.

I know that my Account is Confirmed, but I'm not Receiving any E-mails

Most likely, your e-mail provider is blocking e-mails from BlockoftheDay.com. Please do the following to whitelist Blockoftheday.com. Please check your spam filters to locate your daily e-mails. You may also need to go directly to your e-mail provider's website and check your account there. Some of our e-mails don't even get into your spam box!

I was Getting my Daily Block of the Day E-mail, but now I'm not

One of the following has happened:

  1. You accidentally unsubscribed yourself.
  2. You checked that you didn't want anymore e-mails.
  3. Your provider is blocking our e-mails.

I would like to Unsubscribe

If you would like to unsubscribe, here's how. Login to your account and click on "Edit your Name, E-mail Address and Email subscription status." Next, click on the box "Receive Daily Email" so that it blank. You will no longer receive any e-mails. If you wish to re-subcribe, please see the next item.

I Accidentally Unsubscribed myself - now I want to Re-Subscribe

Did you click on the unsubscribe link at the end of your daily e-mail by accident? Here's how to fix that. Even though you unsubscribed yourself from receiving our e-mails, you still have an account. To re-subscribe, all you have to do is login to your account. Once you have logged in, click on the link "Edit Your Name, Email Address and Email Subscription Status". From there, you can check the box to receive daily e-mails. Click the Save Changes button and you are now re-subscribed. It may take 24 hours for you to start receiving e-mails.

Please be sure to whitelist Blockoftheday.com or tell your provider that you want to receive e-mails from us. If your provider is blocking our confirmation e-mail, your daily Block of the Day e-mails will also be blocked!

I can't Download Blocks from the Previous Month

Our Block Archive is available only for the current month (plus 5 days from the previous month at the beginning of each new month). Each daily e-mail tells you how long each block is available for download. Please don't wait to download the blocks you want, they are available only for a limited time!

Today's Block doesn't have any Instructions - I Don't Know How to Make it.

Most likely you are seeing a foundation block. Foundation blocks do not have instructions like Strip-Piecing blocks. Even numbered days have Strip-Piecing blocks and odd-numbered days have foundation blocks. If you need help learning how to sew foundation blocks, please click on these resources:
